I’ll be talking about the value of home cooking as part of the Wintertide Speaker Series. If you haven’t visited, it’s worth checking out the amazing four-season farm, greenhouse, agricultural education center and restaurant. I’ll be doing an art/narrative/meal installation with Niki Ford, chef, artist, and culinary fellow at the Montalvo Center for the Arts. I’ve written a short story about a formative meal my brother and I cooked as children, and Niki and a few other Chez Panissers will recreate it at Montalvo’s villa, while I read the story.
